Your
safety comes first - B•Tect DVD training course. |
||
Could
you or your staff be assaulted? Then you need to know about B•Tect breakaway techniques. |
||
Does
your organisation employ people who have a 'duty of care' towards
'service users'? If it does, then this two DVD course is for
you. What is 'duty of care'? Simply put, if you look after people
then you have a duty of care towards them. Some examples would
be Teaching, Nursing, Working in a Care Home, etc. B•Tect breakaway techniques are designed to keep both you and the 'client' (the person assaulting you) safe and unharmed. Remember, if a member of staff is assaulted they might be injured, possibly even to the point of being unable to continue with work. This in turn may place more pressure on other staff and in turn lead to an increase in incidents of aggressive or challenging behaviour. B•Tect training is an investment in safety. If untrained or poorly trained staff respond to an assault in an improper manner then your service user (the person exhibiting the challenging behaviour) may be injured. This could lead to a law suit against your organisation. B•Tect training is an investment in safety. These B•Tect DVDs are quite simply the next best thing to having live tuition. They are also a great way to preview or review B•Tect breakaway techniques prior to or following on from a B•Tect course. The course was filmed live during a six day B•Tect trainer training course and then subjected to nearly eight days of professional video editing. The two DVD program presents an introduction to the B•Tect breakaway training method. It will lead you step by step through the theory of interpersonal safety and the practical skills that you need to develop in order for both you and your client to be as safe as is possible in a physical assault situation. |
